Alcorn State University, in Alcorn State, Mississippi, has been awarded the CampusTours Four Star Tour Award for their compelling virtual campus tour and photorealistic campus map.

The Alcorn State University Virtual Experience is centered around photorealistic campus maps of both the main campus and the Natchez campus. Both maps are fully interactive and feature graphical layers. The Alcorn video tours interact with the map to show visitors where specific campus activities take place, and several of the videos contain Interactive Video points that yield additional videos and information.

The Alcorn State University tour also features a mobile experience designed for smartphones and tablets. Visitors that use the mobile experience while on campus can take advantage of Global Positioning System (GPS) system integration.
